Draping 101 Tutorial
Below you will find step by step color photos of how to create a very simple, yet very effective draped skirt. This is simply a rectangle, made into a tube with lace glued on the bottom. Next pull tight against the body as shown, then fold under and glue.

Lastly drape with pins as desired, spray with stiffen and wala! I used cotton here, but the new Comtesse tutorial used cotton velveteen with equal results.

For inspiration - pull out your bridal books and see where the folds are. See the weight lines and the draping around the body. Practice Practice and you will succeed!!
