This site is great for finding links to just about anything related to the
model horse.

Michelle McKenney's recommendation:
Here are two sites that carry the Breyer "Classic" (1:12) scale models, and
have several that we can use in stock :-)  (And the dappled grey Hanoverian
is nice enough that he doesn't *really* need to be repainted ;-)

http://www.handhwc.com/store/commerce.cgi?product=classic

The Dappled Grey Hanoverian #642, Appaloosa Sport Horse #651, Black Tobiano
Pinto #653, and Chestnut Tobiano Pinto #655 would all be appropriate for our
sidesaddle project :-)  I haven't ordered from them yet, but I hear great
things about this company!

Go to their "Classic" scale page from the menu on the left.  They have #651
and #653.  I haven't ordered recently, but they are very nice, professional,
and prompt :-)

I believe that the other Classic models will be too small for our saddle
project.  (Even real-life sidesaddles are rather sizable, and we do need
enough room for the lady's bottom and leg on the horse's back ;-)

EBAY
Then there's always good ole eBay ...

l?from=R11 brings you to all the classic sized (1/12 scale) Breyer
horses!
